Car was at Cooks Mill, so I'd already walked a few km up here to Jawbones Car Park. Note the 2nd bottom line; they've even used 'bold' in the carving 'font' to say TAKE NOTICE.
Not long into climb up to Jawbones. This fallen tree was 'caught' by a few others. And yes, that's the track going right underneath it.
There are two Jawbone rock formations. This is the first, from memory the North. Check out the steep angles of the uplifted rocks. Also that's smoke from a controlled burn. Pity, it blocked most of the good views.
Resting my feet on, but not quite over, South Jawbone. Nice drop! I think the rock I was on was slightly angled towards the drop ; just enough angle for me to hold back on the "dangle the feet" shot.
