Arhiterra is a workgroup founded in December 2005 by a number of architects, members of the O.A.R. (Romanian Architects Order), proposing a sensitive yet much-welcomed topic: the contemporary way of living joint with the present environmental policies – traditional construction techniques, natural materials, alternative habitats and efficient use of resources under extreme conditions.
Casa-Verde (Greenhouse), Sasca Romana (www.casa-verde.ro) is a cob house started in 2004 by arch. Ileana Mavrodin.
