Canterbury City Council Sydney NSW Australia Investigated in 2009 by the Office of the NSW Ombudsman. Condemned for 7 years of unreasonable conduct and lacking in leadership. Forced to apologise to an 83 year old woman. Now, as before, this Council seeks to shut her up intimidating and threatening her. In October 2011 Council sends out this notice to an 84 year old woman. Great work Canterbury Council - the General Manager must be so proud of his achievement in failing to address complaints that forewarned of the inevitable. Yet to cover those failures, this dishonestly managed Council sends out a notice to only the 84 year old woman that has a miniscule piece of land nearby. Threatening her to address it as that miniscule piece of land has the potential to attract and harbour vermin. Is this incompetently managed Council for real? And how have 9 Councillors condoned this?
