we did a surprise spiritual life party with g416 and had kamati come up and join us. we did this one in the gladstone and the place was packed right away. small room... surprise guest... what did we expect? after sorting out a million and one problems at the door we got down to business and partied. woo hoo!

what a way to end the summer... a dj gig in paris with our good friend dimitri followed by two weeks of chilling out in the wonderful city! we had the honour of playing for the respect is burning crew (jerome, frederic & david merci beaucoup!) who, like us, mark 2006 as thier 10th year in the party game... it's crazy how far things have come. the night was great fun and i managed to hold my liquor (good news for all toilets in paris) and didn't f**k up any mixes. can't really ask for much more than that can you? we spent the rest of the trip walking around the city, eating everything in site & shopping like teenage girls.

hurricane ernesto had us shi*ting our pants all day because of the never ending rain & rain on a party night is the worst! it let up in the evening thankfully and then the party was full on. everyone loved the swank surroundings of palais and danny krivit tore us a new one. all in all it was another good night & we hope to be back at palais royale for another one!

in the 10 years that we've been throwing parties i would have to say that this one is definitely in the top 10? top 5 even? it was perfect... the weather was great, spinna was great, the people were great & the vibe was spectacular. everyone was wearing their best smile while soaking up the sounds till the early morning. we were ready to go till sunrise but we had to shut down jut before 4am. thanks to everyone that made it out. to those that didn't... you really did miss something special. where else in this wonderful city of ours can you party with good people and good music under the night sky? well, nowhere except for milk. @ sunnyside of course!

everyone & their mother usually goes away to a cottage on victoria weekend as it's the first long weekend with nice weather & blah, blah, blah... it was cold. it was rainy. there's nowhere i'd rather be on a long weekend than at a party i'm throwing. thankfully there were a few other people in the city that felt the same way! we went till about 5am on this night in a nice cozy studio... ahh... warmth...

this party took an incredible amount of work as well as nerves of steel, but we managed to do it right. after having dreamt about throwing a proper warehouse party with moodymann i think we pulled it off in fine style. it was dark. it was hot. it was wet. it was dirty. i'm really sorry about the washrooms... some wanker decided that it would be a good idea to put a cup in the mens toilet & have it overflow. just be glad that you aren't the one who had to clean up... ugh.

this was our 2nd ever afterhours & it turned out a lot better than the first. afterhours #1 was just about to go off at around 3am when some unwelcome guests dropped in to inform us that if we didn't shut the party down there'd be some charges coming our way & we might have to see what the inside of a cell looked like... well, we split along with everyone else. if at first you fail then try, try again...!

sunnyside - last dance

this night was perfect. we were scared about this one because the 5000 flyers we printed just sat in my house so we weren't sure if anyone knew about the party. the word got out, the buzz grew & next thing you know instead of the 300 people we were expecting we had over 700 people dancing, drinking and looking good until the last track was played at 3:15am. if you came to the party then thank you very much because you made the last dance something special. we'll see you back at sunnyside next season!!!

could a night be any more fun? dimitri played a 100% disco set which we've been asking him to do for ages, and everyone ate it up! some people were dressed in disco gear while others were dressed in green & white to celebrate the fact that is was saint patrick's day, whatever people were wearing they were all having a great time!

this was our first [arty at the drake underground and by the looks of it we may do some more. it' a fun little room with a relaxed vibe. it was good to be able to mingle with everyone instead of worrying about all the party details that come with bigger events/venues.

this was the last time that house legend lil louis would be gracing the stage. he was on his final tour as he's not going to be djing anymore. everyone in the house was anticipating a good night and louis didn't disappoint. we added extra sound to roxy's already impressive system and ended up with some earth shattering bass. it was crazy, but good. the dancing didn't stop till about 4am and the last song of the night was louis' massive hit 'french kiss'. wicked.
