Cool bridge - when it needs to open, they fill the large concrete blocks at the end with sea water, causing the counter weights to get heavy enough to lift the bridge
On our way to watch killer whales. In total we saw around 70 whales that day, from all three pods

After that dinner, we took the little aquabus to the other side of the False Creek, where we witnessed on of the best sunsets ever.

On the way to Seattle, we stopped in Lynden - a small village with a lot of Dutch influences.
For lunch, I had kroketten met brood (croquettes with bread, a typical dutch lunch dish).
