LON90:IRAN-STONING:BONN,23JAN98 - Four-way combo photo purports to show a public stoning in Iran. Masoume Bolurchi, a member of Iran's exiled opposition National Resistance Council, showed journalists what she said was the first video footage of a public stoning ever to be smuggled out of Iran to illustrate serious human rights abuses. The video was taken seven years ago at a barracks for the Revolutionary Guards in northern Iran. The Iranian Embassy in Bonn say the video is a fake.
