First light with my new Canon 350D on the Takahashi 180ED Astrograph. Only 30 seconds of exposure. I never acheived this amount of detail with film in 30 seconds. (not in focus)
Similar shot, but 108 seconds using a Baader UHC filter. Stars trailing & not in focus, using viewfinder only is not good enough. The mount is not polar aligned.
First light with a Canon 350D (non-modified). 30 seconds at ISO 800. No darks, flats or any astro processing. Faint satellite trail through the Running Man nebula (top). I am sure there is more detail in there that an experienced imager could bring out.
Stars not in focus and some trailing. I was interested in the FOV and an idea of how fast f/2.8 would be.
