Bad color. The expression is priceless (and not in a good way). And the background is confusing. Looks like a disgruntled talk show host.
A bit too serious looking for my tastes, but not a bad picture. And of course my judgment is totally unclouded by my appreciation for baldness in men.
Squinty. Suit jacket is puffing out. Brick wall has *got* to go. Looks like this picture was taken outside of a Denny's - possibly at some LP state executive committee meeting. And did I mention *squinty*? This is NOT what people want to see in a pol.
Good: he looks jovial. Bad: he looks *cautiously* jovial. Just smile already! There's no penalty; really! Funky colors. And... I adore the tie, but not-so-much for a campaign pic.
B&W and trees make for a very arty pic. But... this isn't Art; it's Politics. *sigh*. Smile looks a trifle forced, but it's pretty good all-in-all. Lose the trees. Go with color.
See previous pic re: B&W. I actually loathe flag backgrounds, but part of that is Just Me. The other part is that they are way overused. But however you feel about flags in campaigns, wearing one on the *head* sends the wrong message, I am sure. And what's with the Hawaiin shirt thing? On the BIG PLUS side, this guy has a *wonderful* smile!
LOOK AT THE CAMERA. This gazing-into-the-future thing is really bad! Nice smile, though. The flag is distracting; lose it. Please.
What a great smile! Pic seems a bit fuzzy, though, and the background is distracting. And flag ties... I dunno. But even if you *do* decide to wear one, I think a lot of cranky old fellas at the American Legion are going to be LIVID about the fact that it's apparently upside-down. Yes, we're a nation in distress. But leave that for the campaign trail, not some subliminal semaphore deal.
There's nothing to fault about this picture! And believe me I looked :) Nice smile; direct, frank expression, mellow yet snazzy tie. I'm sure someone will squawk about the tie and the jacket being mismatched patterns; I am so sartorially challenged that I'm not sure if that's a plus or a minus, but I think it looks fine. The background isn't my favorite, but it's inoffensive.
This looks like a yearbook picture from the 50's. Lose the B&W, make it brighter, and for heaven's sake, bring the face in closer and lose the bottom 1/3. Ont he plus side - this guy has an absolutely winning smill and expression. Use it!
Other than the cowlick, this picture is fine. A bit serious for my taste, but that may be intentional.
Looks a bit like a cross between a Glamor Shot and a Mug Shot. Eyes are shifting sideways - BAD! Needs to be framed better - bring the camera in a bit.
Why is this man snarling? And what's with the trees?!? However: nice suit!
The banner, I am sad to say, has to go.
Crossed arms are Not Cute. GREAT smile, though! Bring the camera in and showcase it more!
Ronald Reagan's long-lost younger brother!!!
No sunglasses. No sign. Sorry.
Great pic; although I keep thinking I've seen this woman in the Board of Elections office before. Smile is a bit tentative. Wonderful hair.
The sideways thing is a bit .. sideways.
This looks like the ID badge photograph for the Archetypal IT Guy.
Bring the gaze down *just a touch*. I'm torn on the sexy-seventies open-collar thing and the groovy background. It might work for the right place (SoCal) and demographic (some women). This is obviously a picture of a Man With a Ponytail.
I adore the hair. But since I know it's shorter now AND I know many folks don't care for long hair, why not do a re-take. Smile is great, though there's a *teensy* bit of squint. My feelings about flags have already been aired, so I won't go there again. OK, I lied. lose the flag, please!
Another IT guy's badge pic!!
Wow! Power! A bit much angle on the turn, though. Just face the camera. I doubt the cameraman snuck up on you :)
Perfect if not for the flag. I'll give you the star-tie, though; I know Texans are Different.
Hands-down winner. But, again, I have this thing for bald guys, so take that with a grain of salt. I may be showing some bias here.
Absolutely adorable smile, but the color is hideous and the background is terrible.
Candidate for the Green Party?
What is This Man Looking At?
Great smile and gaze. Need better clothes and background, though. Will take the prize easily with a more professional picture.
Suit bulges. Background is terrible. I think I've already done this one once. Do I have a duplicate?
The FLAG MUST GO. Head tilted a bit much for my taste, and eyes have a touch of that sleepy-languid look more suited to a model than a candidate. But... this guy is positively adorable. He will walk away with the 40-something female demographic. Sorry if that sounds condescending (or creepy).
