When you see me at that museum party tonight, know that the dress I'm wearing cost me TWO BUCKS at Fan Thrift. Actually, full disclosure: It was $1.98.
Our first house ever!!!! This is where we lived when we were 1st married!
Awwwwww. Miss the porch community of inner city living.

Ok, about a block from the Virginia Museum. Pretend like let's buy it, turn it into a house vs. apartement building.
The new wing of The Virginia Museum, still under construction, so excited for them to reopen!
The Byrd Theatre - $1.99 movies, and a man comes out of the ground playing the mighty Wurlitzer on Saturdays!
The bounty: One asian dress, $1.98 + 9 silver plated goblets from the 1960s for $2 apiece - critical because they will not shatter on the prefab's polished concrete floor if you drop them during a wild party. See, I plan ahead.
Now I just need to polish 'em: Orinally $15 apiece, these vintage silverplated goblets were marked down to $4, then when we came to the register, we were informed “Everything is half off...”
A snowflake platter to match my snowflake dishes for 45cents; a funky blouse & dress.
Funky Asian dress #2 - $1.98. Oh the decisions, the decisions, on what $1.98 dress to wear tonight... both have shiny metal glittery bits in 'em, tres festive.
