Tonimbuk Tom Quilty - Australia's National Endurance Ride

The Tom Quilty is the 'Melbourne Cup' of the endurance world. Every year the Quilty moves states, this year it was held in Victoria at the Tonimbuk Equestrian Centre. Tonimbuk organisers did the event proud and it was a magnificently run ride. Most of these photos are taken out on track at 'Camp' Checkpoint (Legs 2 and 3 of the 5 leg ride) There are also some photos of vetting and ride base so you can see how impressive a location and set up it was. Beechworth Endurance Ride 30th August 2009

Sadly the Beechworth ride this year is the last to happen at its current location due to the death of the properties owner. Many thanks to the ride organisers who went to such great lengths to put on a fantastic last ride. Beechworth ran a 20, 40 and 80km ride.
