After the frisbee tournament, it was time for our 7 day bike trip! Day 1: On the train to our starting point: Tarvisio. These are our bikes: Wrench and Paora (Italian for Scary).

Boca: third deepest cave in the world, waterfall at the beginning of the Soca. From here we followed this river almost all the way to the ocean.

Day 3: Spent in Kobarid. First stop: hike to the Kozjak waterfall

Day 4: on the road again. Paora got a flat tire, which Ben fixed
On our way to Tolmin

Apparently the largest Metal concert in Europe was happening in Tolmin this week!

by the time we made it to Kanal, we were sleepy.
Day 5: spent in the beautiful little town of Kanal
the river is so deep, they have diving competitions here every year!
so we had to jump in the water ourselves, with a few of Ben's frisbee friends

Day 6: on our way to Gorizia! This is Ben's frisbee bar
Made it all the way to Gorizia! Then we took a train back to Trieste.
Day 7 (last day) took a hike along the Napoleon trail over Trieste
the new lighthouse (200 yrs old)

but we managed to repack it all, in time to head to Venice! what a great bike trip.
