Farm & Wilderness Vermont - Spring Planting Retreat - May 2012

Farm & Wilderness, aka 'F&W', (http://www.farmandwilderness.org) is a group of camps in central Vermont that are very near and dear to my heart. I worked there as a counselor 3 decades ago and continue to go back for my fix of 'community, family & fun!'. I flew from the Bahamas to New England specifically for this weekend, and as i arrived with the excitement of a first time camper, i felt at home in a way that only those magical places in our lives can generate... such is the continuing magic of F&W, for i saw this magic on the faces of everyone i met there; from the old farts to the youngest of kids. I love to recommend F&W for anyone seeking fun and adventure in community, for they joyfully reveal the light of the spirit in everyone through their mix of rugged nature, work and play. http://www.farmandwilderness.org

Last week he was afraid to put his face in the pool

Like many of us, Sebi has a fear of the water. Silke, his mom, has been trying to get him ready for their trip here to Bimini, to swim with the wild dolphins, and he was scared to put his face in the pool... When they got here, i took him and his brother Nicholas into the shallow water, to 'test out' their snorkel gear... I could see the mix of resistance and fear in his eyes… After splashing about a bit, we put on his mask. Talking to him playfully thru my snorkel (Zedi, can u heah me???), we established eye contact, the same kind of contact i was hoping he'd have over the next few days with the dolphins... Slowly we got down on our knees... then we gently lowered ourselves in synchronicity, until we were smiling and making faces at each other underwater... The next 4 days, he was in the crystal clear blue Bahamian ocean with his brother and mom, swimming with the dolphins... the look on his face when we got back on the boat was priceless... http://DolphinWhisperers.org

Seaweed Tag with Spiral the Wild Dolphin

Dolphins LOVE to play, and this was THE most amazing game of seaweed tag I've ever played with them! It went on for an hour and we passed the seaweed back and forth many times. Once, when it was on the back of Spiral's tail (Spiral is the one with the missing dorsal fin), it broke in two... I grabbed both pieces, dove down, released them, and she and Joyous each grabbed a piece! And the game continued! I love these dolphins, they treat us with such love and generosity. Bimini 'Dolphins & Deeksha' Holiday

Here are photos from our Bimini trip, you can see us swimming with dolphins, feeding the stingrays and eating fresh fish and sushi from the sea (and fresh coconuts from the yard.) Jill Fischer brought her two kids from Calgary and Ulrika brought her friends from Sweden! We had a great mix of people and the dolphins were amazing. We did daily kundalini meditations and initiated people into Oneness Blessing Givers. It was a beautiful week and we shared in a lot of joy, love and laughter; giving and receiving more light and love into our lives... Namaste! Motorcycle Road Trip in India - And Hiking Sacred Mount Arunachala in Tiruvannamalai

I was visiting friends in Pondicherry, staying at the beautiful L'Escale in the French Quarter, overlooking the ocean from the breakfast deck on the roof, when Nicolas, the owner, who was helping me make arrangements to visit Arunachala, asked the fateful question... "Why don't you take a motorcycle???" The energy that flew thru me in that moment just about blew every fuse in my brain... "OMG Yes!" was the initial impulse... "You're gonna die!!!" was the second... You see, I've been tooling around India by taxi, rickshaw, bus, train and scooter plenty over the past few months, and I'm still in awe of how it all works... without daily carnage... everywhere... And, I've never driven a motorcycle, not since I was 10... "You're gonna die" kept repeating... But something else was more prevalent, something else was just sitting there smiling... a Cheshire cat smile... as if, somehow, it knew the deal had been sealed...

These photos are taken from the“Neutralizing Japan's Radiation from 21 Countries” video we made in which we invited people from all over the world to join us in sending love and blessings to Japan. This is filmed at the Oneness Temple at the Golden City in India. We were in our third week of the Deepening Course at Oneness University, and were inspired to send our aligned love and intent to neutralize the radioactive fuel rods and fallout, as well as send blessings to the water, land, villages and people. Ho'oponopono at 'The Cove' in Taiji, Japan

I went to The Cove in Taiji, Japan, the site of the documentary 'The Cove', to perform a Water Ceremony and a Ho'oponopono Healing Ceremony. It was a very powerful event, there were hundreds of people from around the world who joined us online. To be at the site of where so many dolphins have been killed, and to hold everybody and everything; the dolphins, the fishermen, the people who eat the meat, the activists, the Japanese people, the dolphin lovers from around the world... to hold all these seemingly conflicted and polarized emotions and energies within my heart as I did the ceremony, was profoundly moving and healing...

Family Dolphin Trips - The Peters Family in Bimini, the Bahamas - Christmas 2010

"This is the best Christmas I've ever had" These are photos from one of our Family Dolphin Trips. This trip was for Joanne Peters and her kids, we spent 5 days over the Christmas holiday playing on the beach and swimming with the dolphins! They're from Toronto and loved getting out of the snow and into beautiful Bimini! Every trip is customizable and unique... once we found everyone liked lobster, we speared enough to have fresh lobster for two nights! Devon wanted to give it a try and ended up catching his first lobster! We went snorkeling, exploring, freediving, spearfishing and swimming with the beautiful wild dolphins of Bimini. We explored the island on golf carts, ate conch and made new friends. Joanne said "It was the best Christmas I've ever had". (So did Nan, who joined us from Calgary). Amazing Sumac Autumn Colors; Ontario, Canada 2010

Autumn colors in New England are outrageous; often whole mountain sides are painted in reds, yellows and oranges. I've found it to be very similar up here in Toronto. This season, I found myself entranced by the beauty of the Sumac trees... their leaves were the most vibrant of all I saw. The sumac is more of a bush, and it grows rampant on the edge of fields and roads. Following are a variety of leaf photos, many of them sumac, some of the very same leaf taken day after day... Enjoy! Spearfishing in Bimini

Bimini is where I learned to feed myself the same way the dolphins do! Using only a Hawaiian Sling, I freedive to get my dinner. I've learned a lot about the ocean from swimming around down there, and enter her with great Love and Respect. I always say a prayer of Appreciation before I go fishing, and I thank and bless the fish I catch. Here are some of my favorite dinners!

Spearfishing from the Ft. Lauderdale Beach

I love the ocean and I regularly swim out to get my dinner from there... I drive (or ride my bike) to the beach, put on my wetsuit (in the cooler months), say a prayer/blessing of thanksgiving to the ocean and any fish and lobster that show up, and enter the water with every cell tingling with joy... A half mile from the beach, the reef comes up to within 15 feet of the surface. We swim out there regularly, checking the two other (deeper) reefs on the way... The ocean off Ft. Lauderdale has its own beauty and charm... I go to immerse myself in something far wiser, older and vaster than me, and she always delivers... Catching some fish or lobster for dinner is secondary to being immersed in the totality of the ocean... I'm smitten by the ocean!

WORLD WATER DAY 2009

Bimini Dolphins Trip, Aug 2009

Jennifer Hough brought a bunch of her friends down from Toronto for 6 days of fun, joy, adventure & laughter in the Bahamas! We went to open ourselves to even more beauty, magic and wonder, and were overjoyed...
