This is the launching area at Keyhaven, early on the tide so we sail down to Yarmouth with the flood and back with the ebb. Probably about 10:30 with a 2pm high tide.
Sailing down the main Keyhaven River towards Hurst Castle
Just outside now, in the Solent. Hurst Castle, the lighthouse and the hills of the Isle of Wight just back from the Needles in the far distance.
Crossing the Solent, heading for Yarmouth.
In Yarmouth harbour, waiting for the lifting road bridge to open. It opens every 15 minutes.
Sailing through open bridge on way back to Keyhaven.
Sailing up the Yar. Wonderful, very tranquil and unspoilt.
