Ozcat Radio at the 2011 Solano County Fair
The 2011 Solano County Fair concluded its successful five day run this past Sunday, August 7, with attendance and revenue figures up significantly compared to last year. Total attendance reached 40,573, a 16.76% increase, and Fair revenue was up 26.11%. “Several factors contributed to this year’s achievements including perfect weather, and new and more appealing Fair dates,” commented Fair General Manager Mike Paluszak. “Most importantly, the Solano County community really responded to our focus on local exhibits, entertainment and attractions. Our success was only possible through the shared efforts of the Fair and the many local groups, organizations and individuals that participated in the Fair whether that was in our competitive exhibits, livestock competitions, performance stages, International Pavilion (n.b. hosted by local radio stration Ozcat Radio 89.5 FM KZCT), or County & Cities Expo.” http://www.scfair.com/
