This Side of Paradise - Ladakh
When we started planning this trip 9 months back, we were sure that it will be hard to actually make this happen. Still we went on as we knew that it is now or never. Then just as we expected, everything started falling apart. Except me and Amit the other members started dropping off. Then came the real blow, on 6th August we got the horrific news, our destination has been washed away by flash flood. Our schedule was 1 month away. But even then we didn’t think about cancelling the trip. I thank Amit from my soul for keeping me charged up. And after spending more than 20K, having 3 sleepless nights, one tensed day in Delhi (our flight couldn’t land due to heavy cloud, so we had to wait at Delhi for next day’s flight), going through serious high altitude sickness and fighting against all odds, we have made it. Whoever you are and wherever you are, please do visit this place for once, believe me, you’ll not regret, you’ll carry the experience for the rest of your life.
