A US Navy (USN) Landing Craft-Air Cushion (LCAC) craft, approached the beach at Samesan Royal Thai Marine Base, Thailand, as two US Marine Corps (USMC) CH-53E Sea Stallion helicopters assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 462 (HMH-462) fly over head. In the background the US Navy (USN) WHIDBEY ISLAND CLASS: Dock Landing Ship, USS FORT McHENRY (LSD 43) and an unidentified utility craft lie off shore. All part of an amphibious assault exercise conducted during Exercise COBRA GOLD 2002.
