2006 November 18th & 19th - Bullet Trip to Coorg
My first long distance bike ride ever. And lo behold had an accident 100 kms from Bangalore at 7:00 AM in the morning. Some nut while cutting across the road on an activa decided to stop in the middle of the highway. I cut down speed, and noticed that he again started moving, so I increased speed.. But to my dismay that nut stopped again.. I went into him.. Nothing much happened to the Bullet, but the activa took a beating.. After a "Compro" we carried on with the ride to COORG... Had some pain, which I took as muscular pains and went on..
Stayed in Coorg.. enjoyed the ride and came back the next day to Bangalore (which included riding in the rain)..Carried on with professional work for the next entire week after which I just couldnt type anymore on the keyboard the next Saturday (after an overnight stint at work).. Decided to go for a checkup.. And I discovered that I had not 1 or 2 but 3 Fractures.. Luckily all were just above "Hair Line". To more safe riding in the future
