Italia 2010 - 2.26 Firenze day 2
The day of Renaissance. It was pouring down like hell and I've got no umbrella with me.. thought it was just some storm as the same in Holland but no, it rained for the whole morning that I had to wait in the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore without going anywhere. Lunch was astonishing in the famous Mario restaurant, there I met a guy and we went up to the hill to visit Piazza Michelangelo in his car. Afternoon was for Vecchio and Uffizi, and night-walk by the river and downtown again.
