This trail starts right from the house, someone already broke trail which was nice for warming up.

At this point we had to break our own trail. The heart rate really started to become elevated.

Shaefer mountain behind us, and beyond over the mountain is downtown Bayfield.
We had aspiration to peak to the top of Grassy mountain (the one we were on) to reach the overlook of Vallecito. We started too late but was close. Behind us is a bed of rocks blanketed with snow. There seemed to be many rock or tree wells hidden in the area. It took us two hours to make it here and turned around. Roughly 2 hours of sunlight remaining.
Same spot, we decided to power up with some energy bars.
