Heavenly to Gardnerville ski run

Last day of the 2011/2012 ski season I did the Heavenly to Gardnerville run. We only skied for some 3000 vertical ft instead of the almost 5300 vertical ft you can ski on a good year. Still, a very good run considering the conditions. The hike out was about 1.5 hours.

First snow 2010/2011

First snow of the 2010/2011 season. After 2 days of heavy rain, last night at about 2am the temperature dropped enough to transform the rain in snow. Here are some pictures taken in the backyard of my house in South Lake Tahoe.
