Happy birthday Corianna!!!

Corianna had a great birthday... We straightened her hair for school and surprised her with a gymnastics mat. Then, she had a pirate party at Pump It up, full of treasure hunts and booty, and came home to a small family party! Phew- my baby is SEVEN!

Aidan passed his test for 3rd section at Body, Mind Systems, and went immediately out to celebrate at h is friend, Joseph's birthday pool party! Corianna also got to celebrate Skylar's birthday, have a play date with Grace, and we took a trip to the Museum of Science... Busy, busy, busy!

Last Day of School

On the last day of school, Robin Hood had a Bruins Parade, we said goodbye to Mrs. Werlin and Mrs. Piro, and we stayed at school for a picnic and fun game of kickball, before heading home to cool off in the pool!

We had a very busy mid-December... we started decorating the house for Christmas, went to a Candyland Tournament in Faneuil Hall, watched Corianna become an official Girl Scout and participate in her first cookie booth sale, and watched Aidan and Corianna recite a poem and sing a song with their classes in the Robin Hood Winter Program.

Boston, Tree Lighting and My Indian Princess

We spent a day in Boston and went to see the Boston Ballet perform, "The Nutcracker" at the Boston Opera House. Then, we went to the Stoneham Tree Lighting, where the Girl Scouts, Corianna's Daisy troop included, sang CHristmas carols. Then, we got to visit our favorite Indian grandma, and she turned Corianna into an Indian princess!

To surprise the kiddos, we scheduled some fun-time at Downtown Disney. We took Aidan to Disney Quest, which is five floors of video games- he had a blast! The we scheduled an appointment at Bibbity Bobbity Boutique for Corianna, where her very own Fairy Godmother turned her into a princess!

Celebration of Saints

Our friends invited us to a big celebration in honor of Saints Cosmas and Damian... The had a big parade, headed by statues of the saints and followed by a marching band, and they also had a fair, with food, games, and rides. It was a fun evening.

They spent most of the day in the water park, but we managed to get in a few rides... their favorites being the Boston Tea Party and the Log Flume ride, both of which get you drenched!

Fourth of July

We had an exciting and tiring 4th of July. We decided to go hear the Boston Pops and see the big display over the St. Charles River in Boston. We spent 13 hours in Boston, riding the Swan Boats, playing at playgrounds, and looking at all the beautiful architecture. It was an amazing day, celebrating our freedom!

We had heard so much about Crane Beach that we decided to go check it out. It used to be part of a private residence, Castle Hill, which is a mansion that you can now tour. The kids had a really great time.... Corianna's favorite was digging a giant hole with her dad, while Aidan enjoyed chasing the seagulls away from our stuff.
