3-13-08 13.1" Odyssey Mirror Cleaning
Coulter Odyssey 1 13.1" Dobsonian telescope cleaning. I taped a large trash bag between the mirror and the cell so that the wooden cell would be protected from the majority of the water. I then placed the mirror with cell into the sink and ran water over it while using 100% cotton lint-free pads dipped into a solution of very dilute dishwashing liquid. I then finished off with a spray of 70% isopropyl alcohol. I then dried it using the same cotton pads leaving no water droplets behind. Overall, it came out extremely well.
