We arrive in Auckland at 6 in the morning it was about 7 by the time we clear customs and the sun is just coming up
Our hotel our room wasn't ready till ten
Ah coffee just what we need after being without proper sleep since 5 two days previously

we had lunch at a nice Japanese place and had a lunch special which had a load of stuff. We had Kirin beer and were beig watched closely by these sparows

This is on the plateau at 1650m where the path splits to allow you to head up to the Mt Ngauruhoe summit

This path was slippery and pretty treacherous in parts, it was worse coming down.
