To check my bow, I marked an arc on my portable bench.
I quickly see that I need to rework the bow.
Here...
And here!
A 1/2" conduit bender worked well for these small adjustments.
Now we're good.
The bow fits. The blue tape is to remind me to drill the cross support holes.
The drawing calls for a 60 degree angle, but everything just seems to work out by itself.
Notice that I marked the centerline of the windshield first.
See the precut scribe. I will cut back to that mark.
I cut with a sablesaw and then sanded back with a belt sander. It goes fast!
The hardest part is holding the sanders and blowing dust in your face!
Finish up with a fine sanding block.
