I inserted some lights so that I could see the lower hinges.
Need to make sure the cowl is tight against the side before drilling the bottom.
All piano wire in place and ready to drill.
Sides are in tight.
I can easilty see the predrilled holes in the hinge.
Drilled and cleco'd. I needed to sand the inside to level out for the hinge.
The left side needed some bondo to fill in voids befor the hinge was attached.
You can see where the cowl split will be.
Additional 2 layes of 4" glass in prep for making the cowl split mod.
I found that a clamped sanding block worked well to hold the wet layup in place (with a ziplock bag barrier)
