il_bacaro — Best meal we had in Rome. Look at their web site for menu. Hard to find in a maze of twisty little streets all alike. Map E-9.

margherita — Nice little pizzeria in Trastvere ( J-7 at NW end of Via del Moro) be sure to try their fresh pasta with olive oil and garlic. One of lifes simplest, but best pleasures.
costanza — Very near our hotel, in the ruins of Pompey's theater. Food was good but not stunning except for the fried artichoke, which was great. Map G-8, upper circle.
i_clementini — Another little bistro next to church of San Clemente. Off map to east of K-15, between Colosseum and San Giovanni Laterano
ditirambo — Very near our hotel (Map G-8, between the three circles). Very inventive food. Second best meal we had.
