I joined a Bombora tour of Toowoomba to see the Spring Festival which included tours of some of the prize winning gardens and time to enjoy the grand parade on the Saturday

Swell Sculpture Festival 2011
The annual sculpture display of competitive pieces entered in the Swell Festival make excellent subjects for the camera! There are a few pieces I did not shoot - either they were too distant or else not in a position that suited them. I hope you enjoy looking at the pieces I show here.

Springbrook in Spring
I made a visit to my favourite waterfall to see how it looked after a day of rain. There was barely a soul around so the rainforest was disturbed only by the sound the the falls and the birds.

Bring on Spring
A new Gold Coast Arts Festival held at the Broadwater Parklands, September 20-26. Sculptures were on display for a week then a few artists held their own smaller displays in little marquees while live music played from the open stage over the following weekend.
