I used the instruction that I have on my web site
Small solder iron, small screwdrivers, small neddlenose pliers, magafier. I did not need the desoldering tool.
Remove all the case screws and the hold down ring around the antenna connector
Very carefully using a small flat tip screwdriver pry the case halfs apart from the end with the bottons then pull the ribbon out of the connector beside the screen (blue)
Lift the screen and pull the red and black wire connector straight up. Leave the ribbon under the screen connected.
Gently peel the foal up I used a small screwdriver to lift the edges before pulling it up. Remove the four small screw holding the board down. There in three of the corners and one there near the center.
Lift the small plastic connector latch and slide up and out then pull the ribbon out so you can remove the board.
On the bottom of the board you can see the small internal battery.
Using my magnifier I touched the soldering iron to the solder at the base of the battery and took the old one old and held the new one in place with the needle nose pliers and with a little solder on the tip of the iron I touched it to the two leads
