End of Semester

The "interim period" at Bishop Gwynne College, Juba comes to end with the handing over to a new principal, Joseph Taban, and the graduation of the third year students whose studies were interrupted by the college suspension 2009-2010. Jubilations all round! The Interim Administrator, Trevor Stubbs, moves on to undertake international duties on behalf of the college.

The library moves to the New Site

The library had been rescued in the later half of 2009, recatalogued and reshelved. But it soon became evident that much more room and much better shelving would be necessary. In 2010 the college moved many of its activities on to a new site. The Slavanka Trust of Wales came to our aid with a very welcome grant in December 2010. The library move was finally completed at the beginning May, 2011.

New Site Development - July to September 2010

Development of the new site beside the Khor Bou river on Stadium Road, Juba following contributions from Bridport Team Ministry (GBP 4000), the Anglican Communion Fund (GBP 10,000) and the Diocese of Salisbury (GBP 66,000).
