Four Sisters Winery, Belvedere, New Jersey. A wine festival was held at Four Seasons Winery in May, 2007, and Jaya teas participated in the festival.(DSC_0051.JPG)
Here is the wine making equipment of the winery. This is of course only part of the equipment used. Other equipment (especially fermentation vats) is in the building shown in the previous picture. (DSC_0050.JPG)
Four Sisters is located in a very nice small valley surrounded by lush green hills. You can see some of the new vines by the edge of the hill. Being May, the leaves were just sprouting. DSC_0049.JPG
Here are the tents of the wine festival. The larger tents belonged tothe wineries, which do a rather brisk business during the festival. The smaller tents to the left were that of the arts and crafts vendors, including Jaya teas! DSC_0047.JPG
Here is our tea paraphernelia! Tasting tea is an essential part of demonstrating tea, and so we brew a variety of teas that people can taste. DSC_0042.JPG
Scott Hoyt of Hoyt Tea, and Tea Dragon Films visited us. Scott is a good friend who visits us at these festivals periodically. Scott is currently in the process of producing a film on tea, which we are awaiting with intense anticipation! DSC_0038.JPG
Scott and I discussing the finer points of brewing and drinking tea! I love tea and find these opportunities to help Madhu quite energizing. Having a cup of wine during the course of the day is an added bonus!! DSC_0036.JPG
Young visitors enjoying wines. As much as we love demonstrating tea at wine festivals, majority of the customers come with the idea of drinking wine, not tea. So, it takes a true tea drinker to come to these festivals. If the Wine Growers Association would change the focus to Wine and Food, then I think we might get some people who are interested in food who might also be interested in tea. DSC_0035.JPG
Wine festivals are usually very crowded, but not this one. Either the weather was too hot or something, we didn't quite get the turn out we were expecting. DSC_0034.JPG
There were a lot of other crafts vendors, including a little cottage industry selling wine paraphernalia!! DSC_0033.JPG
And here is our display! Five different types of teas, an Assam, a couple of Darjeelings, a Nilgiri tea, and of course the Mirik Leaf, our Signature tea. DSC_0032.JPG

Jaya Teas caddies universally get positive mentions from the visitors. People like the elegant design, and white color! DSC_0030.JPG
We brought some tea bags at the request of our neighbor, a wood working hobbiest who drinks loose tea. DSC_0029.JPG
Here is Madhu brewing some tea.. DSC_0027.JPG

Another picture of the field of grape vines. I love the beautiful picturesque hills in the background. It kind of reminds me of Soureni, the tea estate where I was born....DSC_0048.JPG
Four Sisters has a lot of land that hasn't yet been planted. I think they must be expanding. DSC_0046.JPG
Mountain Lake is located at the top of the mountains, and despite being surrounded by settlements, has quite a prestine look about it. DSC_0059.JPG
The lake seems to be stocked with Bass, which are too little to be called fish!! DSC_0057.JPG
A young lady was catching and releasing the bass. DSC_0055.JPG
Looks like the lake is popular with water sport enthusiast!! DSC_0053.JPG
Beautiful Mountain Lake, Belvedere, NJ ... DSC_0052.JPG
Looks like summer is already here!! Spring was very short lived, but we did get some beautiful flowers. DSC_0067.JPG
Here is a rose bush I planted about 5 years ago. It seems to be holding its own quite well. DSC_0062.JPG
Here is a Peony blossom. This and other Peonies in the garden were a gift of Linda and Enzo DePiero, my colleague at BMS. Thank you Linda!! The Peonies keep reminding me of you and your wonderful family! How is Zack??? DSC_0060.JPG
