There are a lot of roses all over in Flemington. Beautiful roses just like this one. Don't ask me their names because I have no clue.
Another example...
...and another...
..and yet another.
A bird (don't know the name) in some kind of maple looking tree.
It's fall and the maple has as always beautiful colors.
A cool looking pink flower in a tree of some kind. As my mum said "It looks like a rhododendron on the leafs." But I don't know.
A pelargonium bush (is it called that?), never seen those in Sweden. Do we have them?
And a close up on the pelargonium.
They have birch trees in Melbourne as well.
Another evidence that it really is fall here now.
This ain't to bad - a black headed 5 months old python. Never held a snake before in my life. Actually quite afraid of snakes, didn't even want to touch this one at first.
Dinner time! She looks evil I know, but she's actually very nice and the mouse isn't alive or anything. The eyes are grey because she's about to moult (in Swedish: ömsa skinn).
How about a kiss?
This is not to scary...or?! We match pretty good though, don't you think?
Nice snake, a little bit scared at first but then I was fine. Strong muscles though and weird feeling when she moved around.
Beautiful fall colours, I love it but it feels a little strange to be experiencing it in the end of May! :P
Bird of paradise
Bird of paradise again.
Some red flower :P
And a pink/purple one.
And another cool looking flower at the Zoo.
A blue flower :)
A bird drying his feathers.
My first koala in the wild...we went to a place outside Kennet River and spotted 38 (!) koalas in total.
Extremely cute!
The coolest thing was that he actually moved, all the others just sat there sleping.
Sorry, but he was just VERY cute...
On the move..
Sleeping beauty!
Dinner time.
Not a great pic but still kind of cool
They do have ducks in Australia too..lol
We saw a couple of koalas up close right by the road. Of course we stopped and photographed them (along with a lot of other people).
How cute is he?
Wow! A new record for being close to a koala in the wild.
Some beautiful flowers I found.
Playing around with my camera...
..and som more.
