Um, Justin.
This is our good friend Makya, who was our tour guide that day.
Anyone looking?
This is a picture of the small mob of Chinese people outside of most of the Buddhist temples. There were a lot of people there that day.

Makya superstar
This is Jen, she was a friend of Makya's who spoke English and who came along for the ride. She was a lot of fun.
This scary looking man was probably about 15 feet tall, at least. They had statutes like this all over the temple.
There were many old tablets with very ancient looking Chinese characters on them covered in dust.
This beautiful door was to the side of a Buddhist temple. It went largely unnoticed.
A picture of the one of the feminine forms of Buddha and the large pot of incense smoldering in front.
This is Justin's "are you done yet?" look.
A better look at one of the ancient tablets.
These are smaller wooden statutes, closer to life-size versions of Kung Fu warriors.
And... and appearance by the three wise men?
Some of the weapons on display at the temple. Don't mess with this stuff!
An old lady perch.
I'm not exactly sure who this sign is for, but we loved it.
The temple gate at sunset.
One of the pagodas and the large statute of some monk at the front of the temple.
They really don't like it if you beat on that drum.
Some birds perched atop a huge statute of an important monk, which just goes to show you that no matter how cool you think you are, or no matter how big your statue is, you can still get pooped on, and poop is never cool.
