My failed attempt (but it came out kind of cool) to take a picture of my watch as we started walking. We started at 5:50am
We got to the first good viewpoint, most of the way up Indian Head, around 6:50, just in time to see some nice colors on the eastern horizon
...and watch the sunrise.
Looking back down a steep section of trail we came up. These steep sections of "scrambling" is what the Devil's Path is known for.
We started our short bushwack from a viewpoint, since we knew exactly where we were on the map. Of course, the thing about viewpoints is that most of them have views because they're the top of a cliff.
