Conferring right before we begin the descent.
Sue and Susie begin. 50 Mile Creek Canyon is visible to their right.
The descent requires going parallel to the canyon before turning to the right.
The crux of the descent is just out of view to the left of Susie. Start of the narrows is visible to the left of center.
Susie is still on the easy part. Others below her are getting to the more challenging part.
Now we are having fun. The seam that requires lowering of packs is just out of view to the left, below the last hiker.
Will directs traffic.
Ray descends while Barbara and Sue observe.
A wider angle view, with Andy and Will above Ray.
Roger belays the pack carried by Will, brought over by Sue and Andy (just out of the photo). Ron gets ready to accept the pack and Ray will take it from him.
Andy is in view on the right of photo.
Barbara is coming down. Sue is at the left of the photo.
Will lowers Roger. Ron waits to catch Roger.
This is the alternate route into 50 Mile Creek Canyon, down this sand slide. It is maybe a mile or so upstream from the slickrock descent.
