Our first night in Busan we had to stay in a cheap 'love motel.' It was 4am when we got here and came face to face with this bed. Imagine.
Haeundae Beach!
What a stud - right!?
Anna, myself and Arthur after a great day at the beach.
We didn't realize that we ordered this, really! But who could pass it up once it came. James and Ben look pretty happy!
Anna and her awful tasting KGB. Brings back memories of Raspberry Growers in High School.
Ben
Goof
Classic Korean beer snack that you get when you order a beer. We pretend to hate it, but we always seem to finish the bowl, and sometimes a few after that.
Eyeing my next shot.
Just a professional.
This was a cool bar that we went to in Haeundae called the 'Rock n' Roll House.' The four of us played darts and pool, listened to a really great DJ who did not play any rock n' roll at all, and drank draft beer until the wee hours of the morning.
The DJ
Anna looking lovely
Sunny, buried in the sand on Haeundae Beach.
Imagine what I am eating.
It took a lot of guts . . .
There it is. The little squirmy ones at the far end. We had to have seafood because we were on the water. The rest of the dinner was much more manageable and delicious in fact. James and I got the courage to try only one of the three delicacies on this little plate.
Everyone!
On Friday night it was Sunny's 30th birthday! Cake Required - bring your own chopsticks.

Anna with her KGB and Sandy with her coffee. We all have our vices.
Amy, Myeong-soo, Sandy and Sunny
I forced them to do this! I don't think they are enjoying it as much as James and I seemed to.
Ben in front of the longest bridge in Korea. Too bad you can't really see the bridge!
Sunny!
Anna Banana
James making a cat pose and me kissing his cheek. Naturally.

The Girls!
Dancing Queen
Then Anna ordered tequila shots. Big mistake.
Hating it, every step of the way.
Why?
The Big Breakfast at Breeze Burns . . . that we ate nearly everyday.
Wrap your head around all those umbrellas!
Haeundae Beach set the world record for the most umbrellas on the beach at one time, I think in 2007. The number is something over 7,000 umbrellas.
This man walks around in the boiling heat selling fried chicken and beer. It was the first thing our Korean co-workers bought when we got onto the beach on Friday and was actually pretty good.
Fireworks on Saturday night.
James trying to tell the coffee barista that we like a little bit of milk in one of our coffees. Turns into 'chogum ooyou' in Korean and necessary body language.
LEGS !
Kimchi!
Dinner on Saturday night . . .
On Monday, it was raining in Busan, so we went to the aquarium. There was a shark tank that made many little kids cry.
Look at the lips on this guy!
Burgers at Breeze Burns. Delicious.
This truck was just too ridiculous not to take a photo of. In the front, there are Korean women dressed in very interesting attire handing out glasses of Cass Beer. Pretty rad actually!
This is the live version of what we ate at the seafood restaraunt. I know what you are thinking . . .

At the beach!
