The Telerik Help Desk demo running in Safari 3.0.1 beta for Windows. The demo functions without problem in the new beta browser.
Well, almost without any problems. The RadWindow's modal mode does not seem to be working in Safari.
The File Browser demo shows RadMenu, RadTreeview, RadSplitter, and RadGrid all working correctly in Safari for Windows.
Advanced funtionality like hierarchal RadGrids also works fine in the new browser.
RadCalendar's data picker also works fine. It display just like it would in FireFox or IE.
The AjaxControlToolkit Calendar is not so compatible. The visual appearance of the control completely fails in Safari for Windows.
Additional problems can be seen when you try to select a date.
No better on the other calendars on the page.
The AjaxControlToolkit AutoComplete tool also breaks in Safari for Windows. No autocomplete suggestions appear (as they should). In general, it appears the Toolkit has some problems with popups in Safari.
The autocomplete features of RadCombobox, on the other hand, continue to work fine in Safari. The visual appearance of the combobox is a little off in Safari, but that's an easy fix.
Even new controls in the "Prometheus" suite work fine, such as RadColorPicker shown here.
The Slider in the AjaxControlToolkit displays fine in Safari, but it does not have any support for the mouse scroll wheel (in any browser for that matter).
The RadSlider in the "Prometheus" controls displays fine in Safari and it has full support for the mouse scroll wheel.
Telerik's award winning rich text editor for the web also works fine in Safari for Windows. Here we even see the Ajax Spellcheck working in Apple's latest.
