Embassy Suites hotel in Miamai - Day before the cruise. Pas terrible pour quelqu'un qui a le vertige.
On the ship, leaving Miami. Why is he making this weird face? I don't know.
Leaving Miami, sunset.
Leaving Miami
Still leaving Miami
And that's for the departure from Miami.
There were some really relaxing seats in the Spinnaker lounge (on the ship, 13th floor).
Lunch in the Tsar's Palace.
Trying to get a good picture.
Ok this time it's alright.
Going to the first island: Samana, Dominican Republic - Cayo Levantado. We had to go from the ship to the island by tender.
Tendering.
Norwegian Jewel seen from the tender.
Cormorans at Cayo Levantado
Cayo Levantado.
Cayo Levantado - Crowded beach.
Local dancers at Cayo Levantado.
Little monkey
Little monkey with little kid
... Some sort of reptile.
We were about to leave the island.
I think this is the first picture with me in it (so, I was there, you see).
I don't know why those people were wearing lifevests on the tender back to the ship...
Getting a little wet on the tender.
This was the second island (Tortola, BVI in the background). We had forgotten the battery of the camera on the ship when were visiting the island, so we only took some pictures later when we got back on the ship.
I guess this was on deck 13. Beautiful Tortola in the background (it's a shame that we don't actually have pictures taken on Tortola).
Sunset on Tortola.
Sunset on Tortola, take 2.
Now a bunch of pictures taken from the 13th and 14th deck of the ship while we were still anchored near Tortola.
View of Deck 12 with the pools and the whole outdoor space.
Leaving Tortola, and making a weird face - again.
Third island: 4x4 island Safari Adventure in Elmo's taxi in Antigua.
Nice scenery.
Thomas really likes animals and wanted to pet this cow.
These guys were doing some kind of aerial adventure in the rainforest on Antigua.
Regular beach scenery on Antigua. Not too bad.
There was a *LOT* of butterflies everywhere, which was really nice. Here I think I was trying to take a picture of them, but somehow they don't appear on the picture.
This is the beach where we went, we had a very good time there. But with those organized tours they don't let you stay very long, just about 30 or 40 minutes.
This guy again being stupid.
Don't be fooled by this picture: He cannot swim.
Looking happy in the nice blue water.
This is how people park in Antigua.
Sculpture of a famous political leader in Antigua.
This is on the next island, Barbados. We were on a little boat, about to go snorkeling with the giant turtles.
We snorkeled with turtles and with a lot of fish around shipwrecks. Unfortunately, we have no pictures of the actual snorkeling since my camera is not waterproof.
This is coming back from the shipwreck site. There is a "party" beach in the background.
This probably my favorite picture :) It's really a random picture I took, I didn't think it would turn out that well.
Coming back from the snorkeling in Barbados.
There was some kind of outdoor party on the ship that evening, and they were serving this drink, in a fresh pineapple.
Giant dancer.
It's party time on Deck 12.
Ths is the last island, St Lucia. We took a cab to Pigeon Island, and this is one of the beaches there.
This is another beach where we stayed most of the time.
This ship in black was used in the movies Pirates of the Carribbean.
We felt an earthquake while we were on this beach. The whole island was shaking during a good 30 seconds. It was quite impressive, although fortunately we were quite far from the epicenter so there were no damages on the island. http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsww/Quakes/us2007kha5.php
This is Bernard.
Thomas really liked Bernard.
I think I have more pictures of this crab than of myself.
I am in this picture, if you look carefully.
We were really looking for exotic animals.
Yes, this is another crab.
Last picture in St Lucia.
Teppanyaki restaurant, the chef is trying to impress us with his moves.
Good food :)
We asked the guyseating next to us to take a picture of us and he wasn't able to use correctly the camera. So a women took the camera and was able this time to take a picture... but not that great.
Second picture: You can actually see our faces in this one.
This is the theater of the ship (the Stardust Theater).
Singers from the Jean Ann Ryan Company.
Singers and dancers of the Jean Ann Ryan Company.
A part of the crew came on the stage.
This is a chocolate exhibition on the ship; there were some fine pieces.
