Airplanes; 1955-98
I started primary pilot training October 1955 at Mission, Texas, flying the T-34 and T-28. Basic flying training continued in the T-33 at Laredo, Texas. I graduated and received my silver wings with Class 57-D, 16 Nov, 1956. Next was gunnery training in the F-84F at Luke AFB, AZ. Advanced gunnery in the F-100A followed at Nellis AFB, NV. I was a fighter pilot in the 434FDS, flying the F-100C at George AFB, CA. Next I flew the B-47E, C-124, C-141, and T-39. Over the years I made these photos of airplanes. I retired from the Air Force, Oct 1983. I continued with civilian charter flying until Dec 1998 and completely retired with a grand total of 11,520 hours.
