Every good day out need a Picnic!
This is the trail we followed to enter the valley.
You are looking at the one of several dozen eyes that make the springs for the stream. The red dot is a beautiful butterfly.
A Flock of Vultures! We counted over 50, with maybe 30 visible in the picture. We also have been onto of this ridge with the bikes. Next time we will post some pictures from the top. :)
What you see is what you get.
For those of you that like to smell the flowers. :) Check out the thorns as well.
Look Mom, No Hands!
Trees were made for climbing!
As you can see, they aren't in danger of falling off.
The family, ready to leave the trees and move on to explore the fields.
On the way back I had to get a picture that shows the Acacia trees of Africa. These are beautiful trees with flat tops that dot the landscape.
Tanya is collecting porcupine quills. We find them all over. This one isn't that big, they get two times this size.
My Crew! Love them all.
Going back to the bikes, you can see where we are heading. We back in the valley also a mile from the road. You are looking at a cow path.
AWWW! Almost makes you want to kiss. Who am I kidding, I do want to kiss. :) Romance from a man's side looks a little different then you ladies might be used to.
