Mystery clearance bulb
I found this unmarked plant at a local hardware store having an end-of-season clearance sale. For scale, it is in a 3 gallon container, so the foliage spread is about 4' wide and the foliage itself is about 2' tall (above the soil). The guy working in the nursery department could not remember what it was, but he said it had "blooms like a daylily". It looked nice and healthy, so I decided to take a chance.
