"+Catherine Welch yeah challenging for sure and this year's lighting was darker than last year. But I see a friend of mine's recital shots from the audience mostly and she rocks it. I have to go back and look at what she shoots with and at. Like Craig's link above for Keith Dixon - I'm sure he's shooting with faster lenses than I own which probably helps. Another friend of mine shoots with me (we both danced at this studio and we both continue to help out during the recital) and she struggled yesterday as well with it so at least it wasn't just me!! I will share a few - I posted a tutu shot yesterday! :) Thanks!!"

"+Catherine Welch & +Craig Szymanski all I could think about today was this post as I pushed by ISO up to 1600 & 3200 during a ballet dress rehearsal. I got some decent shots (My head was not in the game today at all so I was not on my game - or even in the ballpark). Will start editing tonight and when I have some time I'm going to go back to last years photos to see what I shot at!"
