Beverly Bortin and Family 04-06/02/2009 The welcoming provided by our host, Giuliano, was wonderful. He met as at the airport in the evening, and the next day, our only one in Naples, took us on a sightseeing tour based on what we said our interests were. We enjoyed his knowledge, enthusiasm, and helpfulness. He is now remodeling the rooms in which we stayed to upgrade the bathroom, adding one which will make the facilities more comfortable. We highly recommend this B&B. I don't think we could have done better in Naples.

Giuliano gave us a very warm welcome complete with coffee and the orientation of napoli itself. .....Giuliano was kind enough to carry drop us and our bags to the nearby train station despite it being a last minute decision! salutes! my only grouse would be the location is a bit out of the way but the service and the facilities would definitely overcome the negatives! i would definitely recommend this place!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Naples du lundi 14 juillet au samedi 19 juillet 2008. Le service est la qualité des chambres et des lieux , sont trés bien. La situation du bed & breakfast sur la colline du Posilippo est excellente. L'accueil , l'amabilité et les conseils pour bien organiser le séjour à Naples de Giuliano sont d'une grande aide pour l'approche de cette ville merveilleuse. The Dalton's Family is taking the Italian Breakfast on the Terrace:"We stayed at La Bougainville 6 days in April 2008, what a wonderful bed and breakfast. The room and private bath were very nice and the terrace was great for relaxing and breakfast on nice days. The highlight of this bed and breakfast is the host Giuliano, he met us as the taxi dropped us off, and was at our service till our departure. A tour guide, cook, conversationalist, and friend he does it all. Not only did we have a fabulous stay, we feel we have a new friend in Italy. Upon arrival, the owner, Giuliano was there to welcome us with a big smile and a refreshing espresso. After driving into Naples, it was a much needed welcome as driving in Naples is only for the bold. Giuliano was a fabulous host who provided us with lots of information to navigate the city of Naples and surrounding areas. Our visit to Naples would not have been nearly as enjoyable or easy without his knowedledge and passion for his city. We slept well in the comfortable bed, and woke each morning to have a tasty continental breakfast out on the vine covered patio. It was a litlle piece of heaven in the vibrant fast paced city of Naples.
Dear Giuliano, We wanted to write and thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We appreciated all your suggestions and help with places to go and things to see. We just finished writing our review for Venere and hope you like it. We will definitely be back because you opened our eyes to all there was to do in Napoli. Annette & Gerhard Giuliano ist ein aktiver Gastgeber, spricht englisch, kümmert sich um vieles, zeigt Ecken von Neapel, die man sonst nicht gesehen hätte. Frühstück war ganz hervorragend.
I DURAY "Nous avons loué les deux chambres,trés spacieuses,claires et bien meublées. Nous avons apprécié d'avoir une place de parking pour la voiture.Elles sont situées dans un quartier résidentiel trés bien placé sur les hauteurs de la ville trés propre(ce qui n'est pas le cas des banlieux de Naples).Pour circuler à pied à trois cents métres il y a un finiculaire qui rejoint la ville en bas. Propriètaire trés serviable et aimable qui fait tout pour rendre le séjour agréable à ses hôtes."

This is a very nice B&B, with a good location. Giuliano is a very gracious host, and keeps a very clean, and comfortable establishment. The breakfast is custom tailored to your desires, and Giuliano has lots of helpful suggestions and literature to make your stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the Naples area!

Kathrin, Claudia( :"Wir, meine Schwester und ich, waren vom 30.06. bis zum 07.07.2007 in Neapel und können die Unterkunft bei Giuliano nur weiter empfehlen. Dies war unsere erste B&B-Erfahrung - und wir waren wirklich total überrascht, wie super Giuliano sich um alles gekümmert hat. Das fing schon am Anreisetag an, denn um den Transfer vom Flughafen/Bahnhof usw. zum B&B und wieder zurück kümmert sich Giuliano auch. Außerdem fanden wir es super, morgens auf der Terrasse mitten im Grünen frühstücken zu können. Auch die Wege in die Stadt, zu den Häfen usw. waren mit Bus, Seilbahn und Bahn super schnell erreichbar. Wobei wir vieles zu Fuß erforscht haben und dies auch kein Problem war. Wir können das B&B von Giuliano nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen, so familiär wurden wir selten empfangen. Ich denke, das B&B ist für jede Altersgruppe etwas, egal ob Pärchen, Familien oder Singles - hier fühlt sich sicher jeder richtig wohl. Erik & Marianne from Holland:"The reserved double room was large, the bed had convenient mattresses (we slept like a rose) and also had it's own private balcony. The clean shared bathroom was well equipped with a bath, a toilet and a bidet. There is also a kitchen that can be used by the guests and a great terrace, where breakfast is served (under a roof of bougainvillea flowers) ! I forgot to mention this, but the breakfast is included in the price. Giuliano serves a great Napolitan coffee with hot milk, if you like. The (sweet) rolls come directly from the local bakery. A great way to start the day! There is a bus stop right in front of the B&B and a tabbacchi nearby, where you can buy bus tickets. Last but not least: I haven't mentioned the best part of the B&B yet ! It's Giuliano, the guy who runs the B&B, who is a real gem ! He really made our stay wonderful ! We had a wonderful stay at the B&B La Bouganville and I can sincerely recommend the accommodation. You will not regret your stay there !

La Bouganville is a very warm and charming B&B with a wonderful terrace that we enjoyed each evening. Quietness of the room was only affected by the windows being open and the infamous Naples sirens. The location was great even though it was not in the "Historic District" because it was a nice part of town and was easy to get where we wanted after we learned what a funicular was. There was only one resturant in the neighborhood which was very good, but we Americans had to adjust to the 8:00 PM opening of the resturant. I definitely recommend La Bouganville B&B!
