Using a lead platen I hammered the wings into shape, then added the body and head. The antennae and silver balls were last and most difficult.

A fork jig I designed 30 odd years ago. The gauge balanced on top of the rake tower is for alignment of damaged forks. The center line is set with a pin through the brake hole or a veneer caliper works too. Rake can be done down (as shown) or up.

Kind of cool. Early MAX frame...before lug kits. Crown is a Cinelli cast with the back cut away and brass added to the top to conform to the MAX blade shape.

I called this the Zia bike for the decoration on the top tube, which you can't see (sorry) but the fun thing was the tiny Concha belt do-dads at the base of the head tube. The Zia is the emblem the state of NM sort of borrowed/stolen from the Zia tribe.
