On the first day I was able to spend a few hours in Tierra del Fuego National Park before embarking.

This is when I officially stepped foot on the mainland of Antarctica.
This was everyone's seventh continent.

It was still early in the summer for whales but we did have a few sightings.

We didn't make it over, but the iceberg spire in the far distance is over 700 feet high.
