This is the route we took. Just shot South as fast as possible until San Juan Bautista and then we caught some really interesting back roads with 10% grades over the pass. It got really worthwhile at Point Lobos Park though, and then the $10 ride up 17 mile Drive that included skirting Pebble Beach and several other great looking golf courses, not to mention $$$,$$$,$$$ homes. I am sure we saw Clint Eastwoods place as we drove through Carmel. Jjust not sure which one it was.
