The Loyal (Wis.) American Legion Post 175 hosts a program at the city cemetery annually. Every year the senior class passes the Civil War flag down to the junior class. The guest speaker was Wisconsin National Guard Captain Clinton Langreck.
Wisconsin National Guard Captain Peter Ashbeck presented an award to Todd's parents, Donald and Shirley Olson. Ashbeck was the captain of Todd's unit, Battalion 1-128, Company C, when Todd was deployed.
