Matthew Meier Memorial - United Airlines Tribute
Matthew Karl Meier Memorial web site is dedicated to keeping the memory alive of a young man whom was taken away from those whom loved him while in his early 20's due to a rare form of Testicular Cancer known as Mediastinal Germ Cell Tumors. Learn about Matthew Karl Meier and his life in Kaneohe, Hawaii. His schooling at St. Louis High School in Honolulu, Hawaii, and at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. He fulfilled his lifelong dream of working with airplanes when he was accepted to work at United Express Airlines and at United Airlines after graduating from SIU. He lost his battle with cancer in September of 1996 but never did he lose his will to live or his fight to find a cure.
