The Blue Orchid and Coral Mist (again!) from Worthington Beach
View of Worthington Beach from the Blue Orchid. Looking East. Pay attention to the beach and the lounge chairs.
And this is what the same spot looked like after a week of wind and waves.
These crabs were everywhere. And very shy. At least the small ones were.
The front of the Blue Orchids/Coral Mist.

Tom Hanging out after the Managers Rum Punch party
Very colorful foundations under a house on the beach.
Stairs to nowhere. This is how much sand has been lost from the beach over the years.
Just on of the many fishing boats anchored off Worthington Beach
And another boat. They actually do use these for fishing.

Can't remember which hotel this was. In the East end of St. Lawrence Gap. Not much of a beach though. The stairs down to it are at the far end of the picture.
Maxwell Beach looking East. Still beautiful after 9 years.
A new condo development.
The Bougainvillea Beach Resort from the beach.
The Bougainvillea Beach Resort from the pool bar.

On the catamaran, Silver Moon.
Swimming with the Sea Turtles. Or was it....See, TURTLES!!
Swimming with the fish on a wreck. Actually, a couple of old steel barges they sunk to create a reef. Literally 1000s of fish. Truly awesome.
Washing the salt water out of my eyes.
A nice quite lagoon for lunch and swimming.
Looks like I've had my lunch.
One of two 80 foot racing yachts that you can book cruises on.
Heading back to Bridgetown harbour
The skipper and one of the passengers
Let's get that last bit of sun. If you want a catamaran cruise when you go to Barbados, I highly recommend the Silver Moon. Big boat, clean, not crowded, lots to drink and eat.
If you look close, there are 3 huge cruise ships there. Don't rememeber the cruise lines or names.
Red Snapper at the weekly Friday night fish fry at Oistins. Another "must do" while in Barbados. Great food and atmosphere and lots of it.
A wonderful Thai/Indian restaurant called Apsara
The Apsara courtyard at night.
Ted's Tour. An island tour, with rum punch, lunch and hotel pickup of course, that I would highly recommend. Ted puts on a very entertaining island tour.
The pier at Speighstown on the West coast. Ted's first stop.
Cherry Hill. Looking out towards the East coast and the Atlantic Ocean. The beach is a place called Cattle Wash. Nothing between here and Africa but water.
Did you know that Barbados had a Sleeping Giant too?
This is actually a main road, not a driveway.
A restored windmill. Yes, windmill
One of the coral formations on the East Coast near Bathsheba
Bridgetown. Broadstreet from a great little 2nd floor restaurant. This was taken from the balcony.
This direction from the restaurant looks a lot busier.
A cute little house hanging over the ocean in the forground and Champers Restaurant, hanging over the ocean, in the background.
Same shot at night. The lights are from Champers. I think they attract the sea turtles.
From the deck at Champers looking at Rockley Beach. The Accra Beach Resort is on the beach at the distant left.
Sunset from Champers on Valentines day
Had to take these between the downpours.
And that's all she wrote!
