Elijah's Going Away Party
Our dear sweet Elijah met his family in early January. The day before he left, his classmates at Little Lambs Primary School threw a huge bash in his honor. Dressing up was mandatory. The sang songs and ate delicious snacks before Elijah read a letter to his friends and nannies, thanking them for taking such good care of him and telling them he loved them and this place. We Love you, Elijah!

Sichuan Earthquake Memorial
On May 21, the last day of three days of public mourning in China for the victims of the devastating quake in Sichuan, our staff gathered to commemorate and contribute. Each house created a banner to send to the people of Sichuan to encourage and bless them. We are sending staff to Sichuan with donations purchased via funds raised for the children and orphans affected.

Three New Children's Homes-Real Wood Floors
A group of flooring contractors and salesmen associated with Real Wood Floors volunteered their time and talents to lay the new wood floors in House of Promise, House of Love, and Zachry House. The walnut flooring was donated by Real Wood Floors. The team of nine guys finished all three homes--over 7000 sq-- in five days. We were stunned by the beauty of the floors and amazed by their speed and skill. We so enjoyed our time with these guys and look forward to their return visit!
