This is my entry in the UGLY STICK contest, which I just dreamed up.
Top end. Notice the rough turquoise stuck into the end of the copper tube.
Bottom end.
Middle area.
The handle is the off cut fron the same piece. I mounted the handle in a dedicated brass fitting that I got from TreelineUSA. The tip also was bought there.
This is the piece of panga panga, AKA pheasant wood, AKA partridge wood, that Tom Johnson sent me a while back. I finally had time to turn it into a cane.
I did a little bit of fancy work near the bottom. I thought it would be too plain otherwise.
The handle is mounted in a brass fitting. This fitting costs about $15, but I like it a lot. I have never broken a cane which has one if these.
